Amazon.com Product Description
Compatible with Nextel cellular service, this updated iDEN smartphone contains the latest calling, Web, and personal organizer features found in other iDEN phones, but in a smaller, cooler-looking package.

For your calling convenience, the i830 features a speakerphone function, mute, a contacts list, call forwarding, a selection of ring tones and downloadable ring tones, and vibrate mode. You'll also get text messaging, a date book, and the ability to download and run Java applications. Plus, if your car breaks down, you can use the i830's built in GPS to help make an emergency call.

The i830 is also equipped with a voice recorder and many office phone-like functions, such as call waiting, switching between calls, putting calls on hold, and conference calling. You can program a variety of shortcut keys to make dialing easier, and you can create profiles. The i830 also features high speed data download, TTY/TDD for hearing impaired customers, Java compatibility, a few games, and the usual polyphonic ring tones and customizable graphics.
