WAP Handphone Configurations
Notes: - Users will be dialing in to DiGi's WAP Gateway - Air-time cost when accessing the zoomFinance WAP site is payable by the user (as per normal handphone charges) - zoomFinance undertakes best endeavours in ensuring it's WAP site is up and reliable. However, zoomFinance is not able to guarantee quality of the line connection and accessibility to the zoomFinance WAP site.
Steps:
Press 'Menu', goto Services and Select. Scroll to Settings and Select. Press 'Select' when 'Connection settings' is displayed. Scroll to a desired connection set (e.g. Set 1) and press 'Options'. Scroll to Edit and press 'Select'. Press 'Select' when Homepage is displayed. Enter the homepage address exactly as follows:- http://www.zoomfinance.com/wap/index.wml. Press 'OK' when completed. Enter the other WAP settings as follows (scroll to the settings as below and press 'Select' to edit the settings):-
1. Connection Type: Continuous 2. Connection security: Off 3. Bearer: Data 4. Dial up Number: +60162991116 5. IP Address: 203.092.128.188 (note: press the * key to get the dot) 6. Authentication Type: Normal 7. Data Call Type: ISDN (switch to Analogue when roaming) 8. Data Call Speed: 9600 9. User name: digi 10. Password: digi (in lowercase characters only) 11. Verify Password: digi (in lowercase characters only)
When all settings have been entered, press 'Back' once to return to the 'Connection Settings' Menu. Scroll to and highlight the Connection Set which you have just edited (as above e.g. Set 1) and press 'Options'. Scroll to Rename and press 'Select'. Enter the set name as www.zoomFinance.com and press 'OK' to confirm.
Once you have stored all the connection settings above, you can start using the service by activating the Connection Set which you have just renamed www.zoomFinance.com (see below).
Activating the Connection Set for the zoomFinance WAP service:
1. Press 'Menu', goto Services and Select. 2. Scroll to Settings and press 'Select'. 3. Press 'Select' when Connection settings is displayed. 4. Scroll to the connection set named www.zoomFinance.com and press 'Options'. 5. Scroll to Activate and press 'Select'.
To Access the zoomFinance WAP Service
1. Press 'Menu', goto Services and Select. 2. Press 'Home'.
To Empty cache (reset the browser):
1. Press 'Menu', goto Services and Select. 2. Scroll to Clear the Cache/Empty cache and press 'Select'.
